13. Reserved IR Receiver Interface
38KHz IR receiving port. Pinout from left to right: IROUT → GND → VCC.
14. Reset Key
Used for system reset and reboot. Pressing the key will power cycle and restart the system under any status.
15. USB 3.0
USB3.1 Gen1 Type-A Host port. Data rate up to 5Gbps, output current: 500mA.
16-17. USB 2.0
Two channels of USB2.0 Type-A Host ports. Data rate up to 480Mbps, output current: 500mA per port.
18. Type-C USB
Supports USB3.0 OTG for firmware burning; also supports DP 1.4a output with max resolution 4K@60Hz. DP function may be disabled on certain firmware versions.
19. Recovery Key
Used to enter Recovery mode for eMMC image flashing and downloading.Operation: Launch Rockchip Development Tool. With the device powered off, connect the data cable to Type-C OTG port. Hold down the Recovery key, then connect the 12V power supply. Release the key once the tool detects the Recovery device, then proceed with image flashing. Refer to the firmware burning chapter for details.
20. Power Key
Functions as power on/off and sleep key. It acts as power switch under Linux system, and sleep key under Android system. Equipped with operation indicator LED.
21. Maskrom Key
Used to enter MaskRom mode for eMMC image flashing and downloading, applicable when firmware is corrupted and system fails to boot.
Operation: Launch Rockchip Development Tool. With the device powered off, connect the data cable to Type-C OTG port. Hold down the Maskrom key, then connect the 12V power supply. Release the key once the tool detects the MaskRom device, then proceed with image flashing. Refer to the firmware burning chapter for details.
